Preventative Maintenance
After changing the oil and air filters for reciprocating machines, we check the belt tension, grease electric motors, and inspect the overall condition to make sure the tank is not leaking. You should drain the tank daily to remove moisture that builds up every day. When this condensation is sent out into the lines, it can damage the air tools.
The same applies for rotary screw compressors. If you do not drain the condensation and compress the oil and air together, they are going to the sump at around 190 degrees Fahrenheit, and the aftercooler will reduce it down to 100 degrees. This results in the condensation dropping out into the air, but the air dryer is not designed to catch every drop of the condensate. We prevent such an issue from happening with our air compressor maintenance. We do this by changing the fluids, filters, air oil separators, and checking all of the control systems. We may also take apart and clean a regulator and pressure tank valve to keep everything working properly.
Rotary Screw Compressor Repair
An air compressor is supposed to operate at 190 degrees, but a failed oil cooler will cause the temperature to rise around 210 to 220 degrees. When synthetic lubricants run that hot, they break the coolant down and shut off the compressor. Call Complete Air Sys. the same day to have your overheated machine back and up running in no time. Sometimes the solution is simply adding more oil. We take care of controls not unloading the unit and electrical problems, as well, with the replacement of transducers to controllers. We offer quality air compressor maintenance that will have your compressor up and running in no time. We also offer additional services such as air systems installation.
